Florida’s insurance crisis is devastating housing affordability, economic stability, and the future of homeownership across our state. Floridians are facing skyrocketing premiums, shrinking coverage options, and growing uncertainty as insurance companies leave the market or dramatically raise rates.

Phil Carter, North Lee County’s Democratic candidate for the the Florida House of Representatives, will lead an important community discussion of this issue.  He’ll address the causes of Florida’s insurance crisis, how it impacts homeowners, renters, condo owners, and local businesses, and — most importantly — what can be done about it.
