Join fellow leaders for a 5-6 PM potluck, followed by a 6-8 training session to learn or refresh basic skills to lead your neighborhood. All Precinct leaders, neighborhood captains, and club officers are welcome update the basic leadership tools and resources after a tasty potluck dinner.

The Democratic Party of Lee County is committed to ensuring every eligible citizen has the opportunity to register and vote. To support this effort, volunteers who wish to register voters are required to complete a training session covering Florida’s legal guidelines and voter registration procedures. Become a certified voter registrar and help expand civic participation in our community. This training includes an overview of the voter registration form, recordkeeping and reporting requirements, and the latest updates to Florida election law.

Poll Watchers are the eyes and ears of the Democratic Party INSIDE the Polls. When we see something, like a broken tabulator, someone interfering with a voter, etc. we use a communication website called LBJ to report the problem to the Boiler Room and Attorneys at the FLA Dem Party.   This 40min training will help you log on and use the system to report from inside the polls.

Join the Florida Democratic Party in making calls for our candidate: Debbie Jordan, Lee County School Board, District 4 This event is completely virtual, all you need is a computer and/or a phone! We’ll use the Scale to Win dialer during this phonebank. The dialer hides your phone number and only connects you when a voter answers. No experience is necessary, and training will be provided before we begin making calls.

Bring your friends, your charged phone, and a laptop.  On-site training and practice is offered so you can continue at home on your own time between sessions.  Sign-up is required to help the organizer prepare.
